Reagents for Eprobe® PCR : Products Overview

Eprobe® PCR

Eprobe® is a fluorescent dye attached oligonucleotide that designed to realise highly-target specific DNA/RNA detection with significant signal-to-noise ratio during Real-Time PCR process. Eprobe® allows simultaneous analysis of RT-PCR and melt curve analysis with a normal RT-PCR equipment.

DNAFORM supplies enzymes optimized for use in probe® PCR. As a original developer of the technique, we also provide custom Eprobe®/Eprimer™ synthesis service.

E-Taq 2xPCR Mix

E-Taq PCR Mix

E-Taq 2xPCR Mix is a PCR reaction pre-mix with optimized composition for Eprobe® PCR.

Description of E-Taq 2xPCR Mix

  • A hot start PCR enzyme:A monoclonal antibody to the polymerase binds E-Taq polymerase, thereby preventing nonspecific DNA amplification due to mispriming.
  • Stable signal level:E-Taq polymerase lacks 3'-5', 5'-3' exonuclease activity. Therefore, it does not cause degradation of Eprobe®, an oligonucleotide probe, and subsequent signal level decrease during PCR.
  • All-in-one:With reaction buffer, dNTP, Magnesium, and other required components in one tube, E-Taq 2xPCR Mix is ready-to-use. You can quickly perform Eprobe® PCR by preparing template, Eprobe®, and E-Taq 2xPCR Mix.

Applications

  • Sensitive detection of a gene (ex. identification of causative organism) by Eprobe® PCR
  • SNP assay
  • Detection of rare genetic variant in a sample

Specification

E-Taq 2xPCR Mix is 2x concentration. Use half volume of reaction volume, add primer, Eprobe®, and template, dilute double with distilled water.

Volume:20 μL (The quantity supports typically 100 reactions)
