Joint research agreement with Russia pave way to future in advance medicine

TOKYO -- Japan, Russia and companies from both countries signed 82 new agreements for joint projects on 16th, December, 2016 expanding a relationship that had centered on energy to such fields as agriculture, medicine and infrastructure. Our project was chosen as one of them. Collaborative institutes are RIKEN, DNAFORM and EIDOS. This partnership is for the three organizations to work together to develop a portable system that can be used to diagnose infections.

In addition, the ceremony for signature document was conducted after Japan-Russia Summit Meeting in April, 2017. We entered into the Joint Research Agreement in this ceremony.

This joint research by Japan and Russia benefits both countries, and the result of this research can have positive effects around the world.
