SmartAmp - Smart Amplification Process

SmartAmp, the Smart Amplification Process, is a novel isothermal DNA amplification technology for rapid detection with extreme fidelity. Unlike other amplification methods, when properly optimized, complete suppression of background can be achieved. SmartAmp requires no DNA purification, and displays high sensitivity with single-nucleotide precision, enabling identification of single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs), mutations, and other DNA targets.
Features of the Smart Amplification Process include:
  1. Fast Detection - usually 15-30 minutes from clinical sample to results
  2. Precision - capable of discriminating single-nucleotide differences
  3. Sensitivity - at least as sensitive as PCR
  4. Assay Robustness - amplify directly from lysed clinical sample (no DNA purification)
